The name derives from the glow created by the contrasting color behind the hands that reflect onto the white dial of the clock. The hands of the clock have slight variation in thickness and the length of the glow in order make it easier to read time. A clear and almost invisible screen sits flush with the frame to seal and protect clock.
Hallgeir Homstvedt completed his BA of Industrial Design with Honours from Newcastle University in Australia.
After completing his degree in 2006, Hallgeir went on to work for the much celebrated design studio Norway Says.
In 2009 Hallgeir opened his own design studio, focusing on furniture, interior and product design.
In part of establishing an independent Studio, Hallgeir exhibited his work in London, Tokyo, Oslo, New York & Milan.
Among his clients are renowned Norwegian and international furniture manufacturers like; Lexon, Muuto, L.K.Hjelle,
OneNordic and Established & Sons.
